Historical evolution

  • 2014-2016

    In July 2014, got innovated key depilation technology development certification in the industrial technology development plan of technology research and development project of Economic Affairs ;
    In December 2014, acquired the silver medal in the LWG environmental assessment of BLC.
    In May 2015, awarded as the potential backbone enterprise by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
    In June 2016, acquired the golden medal in the LWG environmental assessment of BLC.

  • 2011-2013

    In 2011, awarded as the best leather producer in Asia; acquired the silver medal in the LWG environmental assessment of BLC in November.
    In October 2013, acquired the silver medal in the LWG environmental assessment of BLC.

  • 2003-2010

    In 2003, Joinland Leather Production Co., Ltd. was established.
    In 2005, selected as the strategic alliance producer by the Customs; passed the 2004 certification.
    In 2007, certified by BLC Leather Technology Centre.
    In 2008, certified by BLC Leather Technology Centre.
    In 2010, certified by BLC Leather Technology Centre.

  • 2000-2002

    In 2000, the business turnover reached 1,700,000,000 yuan.
    In 2002, passed the ISO 9001:2000 certification; certified by Satra as A-level laboratory; acquired the TM series certification of Timberland inspection method as verified by Satra.

  • 1996-1999

    In 1996, the capital was increased to 150,000,000 yuan.
    In 1999, acquired the Nike QA laboratory certification; certified by Satra as B-level laboratory.

  • 1985-1993

    In 1985, systematical management with computer was applied.
    In 1988, successfully developed a fast tanning method with veg-tanned leather, becoming the only leather producer of chrome leather and pure veg-tanned leather in Taiwan; the management team participated in equity sharing of the Company, breaking away from the traditional family business mode among leather companies in Taiwan; developed the waterproof leather with high physical properties and put it into mass production.
    In 1933, cooperated with Nike to develop the eco-friendly Chrome-free leather; managers were permitted to serve as Board Directors.

  • 1979-1982

    In 1979, Tehchang Leather Products Co., Ltd. was established and put into operation.
    In 1982, Tehchang Leather Products Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation. It was the first company in Asia to develop the Lesan Leather.

Located in the Ta-yuan Industrial Park in Ta-yuan Town, Taoyuan County, Tehchang covers a land area of 27,066m2. In order to satisfy the demands of market, it keeps improving and learning. With continuous technology research and development, production process improvement and strict quality control, the Company has managed to satisfy the customers’ demands and thoroughly practiced the quality policy of “service, quality, innovation and superiority”.

Over the past three decades since its establishment, Tehchang has created the corporate culture and spirit of “honesty”, “dedication” and “study”, which is the basis of the current group. Cross Cone International Limited is the Vietnam factory of Tehchang. Established in 2010, Cross Cone is located in the My Phuoc Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province, Vietnam, possessing around 20 managers and 170 employees. It has been adhering to the operation principles of “honesty and dedication”, “quality guarantee”, “environmental protection” and “profit sharing” since the establishment, and keeps improving itself to satisfy customer and market demands.
With the core business of high quality functional leather production, Cross Cone mainly produces the leathers for casual shoes, climbing shoes and work shoes uses. We cooperate with many well-known world brands, such as WOLVERINE, Danner, Eddie Bauer, ARIAT, Fitflop, HHB, etc. Besides, there is a SATRA A-level laboratory in the company to provide excellent quality control.
In the future, Cross Cone will uphold the company spirit of “sustainable operation”and the company culture of “honesty, dedication, study and innovation” to make the vitality of Tehchang more exuberant and stronger.
